All our turkeys are locally reared Bronze turkeys and are allowed to free range during the day and have a nice comfortable straw bedded barn to sleep in at night. They are reared on the their farm from day old poults starting out life at the end of June, and they are very slow growing so this allows for the birds to develop to near maturity over several months, giving a very succulent and tasty turkey to grace the Christmas table.
The birds are dispatched and plucked in early December before being hung for up to 14 days to really allow the meat to mature. We think this truly gives the birds a fantastic flavour, and gives our customers a wonderful eating experience on Christmas day.
All turkeys come in an attractive carry box with cooking instructions, a pop up timer and to finish them off, a sprig of herbs.
